Freedom to Explore
Netham house provides two large indoor classrooms each with their own independently accessed garden. Our ultimate goal is to enable the children to have fun, explore and have the freedom to express their individuality, while forming the basis of their education. Outdoor Space The children are able to use our wonderful gardens and outside space (under supervision) at any time. |
Indoor Space
Our rooms have been carefully planned to enable children to move freely around them whilst keeping some area's cosier and quieter. All our resources are available for children to access. This encourages the children's independence and confidence, promoting a 'can do' attitude. Our Ofsted report (16th July 2021) stated that 'Children are happy and excited to attend the pre-school'. 'Partnerships with parents are strong and well established'. 'Staff know the children well'. Our priority is to provide a friendly, safe environment where the children learn through play and experiences. Preschool Team Our staff are qualified and experienced members of a close, professional team supervised by Sharon Carstairs. Each child in our care is assigned a "Key Person". This person will ensure the individual needs of your child are met. Your child's key person will help you and your child become familiar with the provision and to feel confident and safe, creating a genuine bond between your child, yourself and the preschool. At St. George Preschool we recognise parents as the first and most important educators of their children. With this in mind, parental involvement is considered to be an essential part of our preschool it is both valued and welcomed. |
